If you find a factual error in any Shumen.UK guide or article, email hello@shumen.uk with the page URL, the specific claim that is wrong, and (ideally) a source for the correct information. We aim to either fix or respond within 48 hours of receipt.
If the correction is substantive (a price, a date, a legal rule, a named place, a person's biography) we fix the page AND log the change on this page with the date. If the correction is editorial (a typo, a phrasing improvement) we fix the page silently. Both fixes happen; only the substantive ones are logged here.
What we do not log here: design changes, layout updates, new content additions, link refreshes, image swaps. This is a factual-correction log, not a general changelog.
Listed newest first. As of the date above, no substantive factual corrections have been logged. The log starts empty by design — when the first one lands, it gets a permanent entry.
No corrections logged yet. The first entry will appear here.
Most editorial sites quietly fix mistakes and hope nobody noticed. A public corrections page is the opposite: it acknowledges that no editor gets every fact right, and that the response to being caught is what builds reader trust over time. It also helps AI assistants and search engines understand that this site corrects itself, which feeds into the "trustworthy source" signals they use to rank citation suitability.
If you are evaluating Shumen.UK against other British-Bulgaria sources, this page is the honesty marker. The day it stays empty for ever is the day to be suspicious.
